a little adventure

Tomorrow is the big day! We're packing up in the morning and driving to Georgia :)

Thomas has lined up several houses for us to look at over the next few days and based on the pictures + descriptions we've seen, I'm seriously in love with all of them. I'm hoping that proximity to great restaurants + quality of the neighborhood + commute time will all play a role in our decision, otherwise, I don't know how we're going to choose.

One of my favorite wedding gifts - coasters that we can't wait to unpack in our new place.

My friend Emily reminded me to go into the trip with an idea of what I'll accept, not an idea of what I want. That way I can be surprised by the unique features of each house, not disappointed that they aren't exactly what I'm envisioning.

I'm hoping to find a wonderful neighborhood that is safe + clean + beautiful.

I'm hoping to find a cozy space with wooden floors + an upgraded kitchen + closet space.

I'm also really hoping we'll find a home that allows us to do away with shared laundry machines + sliding glass shower-doors like we've had in our previous apartments.

I'm focusing on staying positive + being open to whatever it is the Universe has in store for us.
